A left/right poem is one of the easiest ways to do a holiday gift exchange or to run a party game where you have one nice prize.
Directions
Print out one copy of the left/right poem and have your guests sit in a circle holding their own gift exchange presents.
Read the story to the group and when the reader says RIGHT each person passes his gift to the person on his right; when the reader says LEFT, the players pass the gift they have to the left. When the poem is finished the gift the player is holding is their’s.
You can read this at any speed, but the faster you read it the funnier and more crazy it becomes, so judge for yourself the way you want the game to go.
