Many offices and families do a “Secret Santa” gift exchange each year, but if you don’t know the person you are buying for very well you could end up buying them a gift that ends up in the back of a closet. To make things easier we’ve come up with a simple way to help out with secret Santa buying (and receiving!).
Directions
Print out the secret Santa wish list cards, enough so everyone participating gets one. Have each person write their name on the card and list 3 things they would love to receive that are in the “Secret Santa” gift price range.
Things like “anything Star Wars,” “Hershey kisses,” or even “a t-shirt, but nothing pink!” will work. Anything that would help the secret Santa purchase a gift for their chosen person.
When it’s time to do your Secret Santa draw fold all the cards and put them in a hat or bag to be drawn. As the players draw names they must keep it secret from the rest of the group until after the secret Santa gifts are given and “Santas” are revealed.
Hopefully these little cards will make your secret gift exchange less of a headache and more fun for everyone… giver and receiver!
