How many words can you make from the phrase “Happy Valentine’s Day”? This is one of those games everyone knows how to play, and it can work with almost any age group.
Directions
Print a game sheet for each player and hand out pencils or pens. Set the timer for 5 minutes (longer for younger kids) and start the game. The person who can make the most words (no proper nouns) in the time allotted wins!
Add a twist to the game by adding your own sayings to the top, too. Or to make it more difficult by only allowing words with a certain number of letters or more. Depending on your group it can be as easy or hard as you need or want it to be.
